Oh, yes. We just got our beautiful, three-year-old office cut from three floors to one, giving up: the archive library (we are a publishing company!), the lovely lunchroom (now a pass-through kitchen/mailroom with a separate break room), the yoga studio, the high-end video production studio, and the recreation room.

If I thought the powers-that-be had any more of a plan than "this sounds good now," I would hate the whole thing less. On the whole, I'm glad my own job seems secure, but it's not a fun place to be.
