The good news is that the calf muscle is almost back to normal now - a little sore but nothing too bad.

I've heard of people having issues for weeks or months after calf injuries so I'm pretty relieved! Also I've been able to do my normal morning cycle without any issues.

I'm resting it again tonight but tomorrow I shall risk going for a gentle run around the block, just to see how it feels. If it's okay I'll go for a longer one later in the weekend.

Ah, good.

In my experience, knees are the main hurts you don't want to play around with. I've hurt my calves and my ankles and been back on track fairly rapidly.
