Sep. 8th, 2006 10:43 pmWell, tonight didn't exactly go the way we planned, which involved a quiet, relaxing evening, probably with some fine wine involved.
But unfortunately our drain blocked up again. Dyno-rod tried to do what they could but in the end it was clear that the blockage was in the mains drainage so Southern Water had to come out to clear it, which they have just done.
The reason we seem to keep having this problem is that a number of the houses on the hill have their feed to the mains drainage going through the pipe that goes down the side of the house.
But at least we caught it before it came up through the waste pipe into the kitchen and fused the electricity this time...
