Snow is falling, snow on snow...

We had a couple of inches of snow overnight. This morning I started out to work (after taking ten minutes to clear snow off the car!) but turned around after seeing what the link road to the M4 was like.

So I'm sitting at home watching the snow come down and planning to take a judgement call later on in the day on whether to try going in or not. I was hoping to get my 1-1 done today, but as the person doing it has to come in by train and I suspect his trains are at least intermittent then I wouldn't put money on it happening anyway. The snow is now coming down harder here also.

pennski is on her way into the office, as she has things she can't do from work, but she has taken the other way out of town which gets you southbound on the A34 and she can then take the next exit off and turn northbound. Frankly I'd rather she didn't go - I'm very nervous about driving in snowy conditions, but she's sensible and will have no hesitation about turning back if it doesn't look passable.

10am ETA: pennski managed to get in but is coming back home again as they are closing her office.
