A question for UK friends: does anyone else subscribe to Asimov's Science Fiction magazine? I've been having trouble getting my subscription copies - I only got about 3 issues through the regular post and they had to resend all the other issues (and the tone of the emails suggest they are getting a bit fed up with doing it...)

Is anyone else having similar problems?

Hmmmm..... I have an Analog subscription, which I thought I'd renewed, but haven't had any issues this year yet. Maybe these problems are linked since they both come from Dell...

Indeed. I suspect that the thin plastic wrap they ship them in are not really suitable for international shipping. F&SF comes in cardboard envelopes and they always seem to arrive in good condition.

Because their shonky delivery system is your fault?

Yeah, frankly I'm a bit pissed off about that one. Essentially they have said that if I have any further problems they will cancel the subscription.

This is all well and good, but in the UK (especially since places like Andromeda closed) it's not that easy to get hold of copies. Okay, I could opt for the eReader version, but I've got a complete run of Asimov's from issue 1 and I'd like to carry on getting the physical copies as long as they do them.

I'll have to see if WHSmiths can get hold of them if it comes to that...
