Of such small achievements...
Jan. 30th, 2006 08:24 amWhen we were in Italy in 2004 we bought some iron house numbers to put on the front of our house (oddly enough!).
Since then we have been telling visitors and delivery people 'It's The Bungalow, number 27, but there's no number on the house, just the name...' and so on.
Yesterday, after 18 months, I put the numbers up on the house. How long did it take? Including the time to get out the drill bit, rawl plugs, ladder, run an extension cable outside, drill the holes, fit the numbers and put everything away, about half an hour.
Why does it always take me so long to do these simple tasks...?
