Sky+, mutter mutter

Our Sky+ box seems to be on the way out. It's been playing up since before Christmas - freezing, seeming to record and then saying that it has failed, etc. We've been on the phone about 3 times to technical support and we're getting quite good at housekeeping, but it's okay for a while and then starts playing up again.

As a result not only did it fail to record BSG & Stargate last week, it also failed to record the repeats. Oh yes, and failed to record CSI & Sea of Souls as well.

Last night, because we were watching them 'real time' it, of course, was fine recording Time Team and Smallville. Sigh.

I gather the hard disks tend to go on these after a while. I'm hoping not to have to pay out for a replacement, but it's on the way...
