More ways to waste time

After a number of positive comments from various LJ Friends, I have finally decided to give a MMORP a go. After some thought I have settled on City of Heroes (yes, cabell, it is your fault!). So we'll see how we go. It's certainly good fun so far (but I've only just started).

Excuse me, but I have to go off and root out a nest of zombies...

What's your global ID? Are Brits on the same servers as us or not?

Alas we have a different set of servers. I've checked the website and while you can transfer from the US servers to the EU ones (though you will lose all influence if you do) you cannot do it the other way around.

I'm not sure how global global naming is! I'm still new to this stuff...(I've had invites to join a few teams but I'm happily 'soloing' for the moment until I find my feet).

But the career of Keiron Greystoke (named after a Traveler RPG character I created 20-mumble years ago but never used) is going okay - up to level 4 now!
