Colour me surprised

I got the results of the ISEB Design course that I took a few weeks ago when I got home from work today.

I was feeling fairly confident before today. One of my colleagues got his letter before he left the house and got 83%. But another colleague got hers and despite feeling quite confident on the day, she passed, but only just (59%).

So I was pretty nervous, my earlier confidence now in doubt.

So I got home, opened the envelope and:

Pass.

97%.

Wahoo!

It's nice to know that I can still pass the odd exam if I really have to!

I don't know the apt colour for 'almost entirely surprised' - in my universe it would be nearly-jet-black, with a slight hint of grey, but I do understand that other people see these good things differently...
