Due South musings

As mentioned a few posts ago, pennski and I are rewatching season 1 of Due South at the moment.

It's a lovely reminder of what we liked about the series: generally fairly gentle, good-natured, fully in favour of the underdog and falling-over funny.

But it did occur to me the other day that to all intents and purposes Fraser is a superhero. Consider, mild-mannered with a really clear moral sense, with 'superpowers' (smell & hearing particularly) and even a (sort of) costume. Oh yes, and a sidekick.

Yep, definitely a superhero series.
