A day of at least 3 halves

desperance Valentines Day was a day of at least 3 halves for me.
Work was work. I ran one training session, one workshop and did other stuff. Busy, busy, busy.
The evening involved a very pleasant meal at the Indian restaurant within staggering distance of home. The food was good and the mood only slightly spoiled by the self-important high-maintenance woman on the table next to us who was never happy with anything.
Unfortunately in between these two halves I broke my 33 year non-treatment run with the dentist. I had one filling and one tooth out from my milk teeth and apart from the regular polish I haven't had anything since.
Last night I had three (admittedly small) fillings.
Damn, damn, damn.
Not to mention 'ouch, ouch, ouch!'.
