Extreme hail
Mar. 19th, 2007 08:47 pmOn the way home tonight I drove through what can only be described as 'Extreme Hail'.
I've never driven in a really heavy hailstorm before and this went on for about 25 minutes of the drive, covering the road. It was actually quite easy to drive on, although![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pennski was advised to take a different route home as by about 15 minutes after I had gone through it the hail had been crushed and frozen to ice.
Just to liven it up I also had a thunder storm to go with it, including a lightning strike so close that I could swear that my car was rocked by the shock wave. Nearer than that I don't want to be...
