Now, I may have commented a few times in the recent past that my weight is not exactly where I would like to be but...

We spent the weekend with [livejournal.com profile] pennski's sister and in the kitchen is a photograph of the two of us from about ten years ago and it was a wonderful reminder of just how overweight I used to be. I had no visible cheekbones, for goodness sake! Not only that, but the photo was taken before I got to my maximum weight.

So I might be a half stone more than I would really like to be right now, but I feel much better having seen something to compare myself with!

(Apologies for scarcity of posting recently. Work has pretty much been taking all my available brain power recently!).

I hear you. At my Dad's place there was (and may still be, despite my mentioning this to him) a picture of me and my ex-wife up that shows me at my heaviest. It's always cringe inducing to see it, but it does help me keep my current condition in perspective.

I know what you mean--it's always kind of shocking seeing photos of myself from a couple of years ago.
