I've just got a text from my sister to say that my youngest nephew has got into Exeter university.

Yah! I can't tell you how pleased I am that someone else in my family is going to university. I was the first and only one for a very long time!

Marc has done well for himself so far and I can only hope he goes on to university and draws as much success from his life following as you have.

But to be fair, your brother and other nephew have bought Uni to them by studying with the OU.

Good point, I'd forgotten that (though to my knowledge said brother has not done anything on his course for a couple of years now).

Incidentally, do you know what grades Marc got?

Haven't been able to make direct contact with the little nipper yet but rumour has it that he got B,B,D.

Matt's aiming to start up again next year. I'll pray his competitive streak will not allow him to be the only man in our two generations without a degree.
