The last episode of VM season 2 broadcast over here on Thursday.

Woah!

In no particular order:

Cassidy. Didn't see that coming at all, though when you add all the information together it does make sense. Loved the final confrontation on the roof. Finding out that Cassidy did rape her was a shock. We're watching season 1 on DVD at the moment and I will be watching him more closely. Lovely moment when Cassidy is about to throw himself off, Logan says don't do it and when Cassidy says why not Logan can't think of an answer. Once again VM does not go for the obvious responses.

The graduation ceremony. The fact that Weevil doesn't get to walk across the stage in front of his Gran. Again, other shows would have allowed him that moment. And what sort of a shit is Lamb? He deliberately chooses the most humiliating moment he could have done to make the arrest. Loved the little moment between Veronica and the principal. You know she likes him really!

And Duncan Kane had more backbone than I would have guessed - didn't have him down as the type to arrange a hit. The question is, was Kendall Casablancas in on it?

Wallace and wotshername. Sorry, but I continue not to care about her traumas. Is it me but has Wallace not come out of this year as likeable as he was? Still, better than the 'token black friend' role he played through most of season 1...

Overall an absolutely stunning final episode. Looking forward to the next year!

Watching S1? Please, do let us know whether there are any hints about Cassidy in it.

The most disappointing thing about Lamb is that he seems to have not one redeeming quality. Can't trust every authority figure? Okay, we get it already. I suppose he must be the token cardboard character on the show (corrugated tokenism--who knew?).
