Well, that was dumb...
Feb. 17th, 2007 03:12 pmOkay, I was working from home yesterday morning and around 10am I decided to put on a pot of coffee.
I filtered some water and added it to the coffee machine. I added the coffee. I switched it on and went back to work.
A few minutes later I heard the cheerful sound of water dripping through.
A few minutes after that the electricity throughout the house went off as a fuse blew.
So, guys and gals, what did I do wrong?
That's right: I forgot to put the coffee jug under the machine so all the wonderfully flavoursome coffee was falling inside the machine.
Sometimes I am the dumbest bright guy I know...

Date: 2007-02-17 04:48 pm (UTC)Our pot had a faulty stop-drip mechanism, and we eventually had to pull out the little plug & spring. But, ours is also a "fast brew" model, so I'm okay with waiting.
